Partner Agencies

The following is the list of local non-profit agencies partnered with the Cumberland County United Fund.  These agencies provide a wide range of services.  Each year, agencies complete a new grant application and then are visited by a United Fund Agency Review Team.

Children & Youth Programs & Services

  • Standing Tall Life Skills, Inc. – Empowers youth and adults in our community with the aid of horses in a safe equestrian environment. (931) 200-2195

Domestic Violence/Child Abuse Prevention 

  • Avalon Center – Free and confidential support services to adult and child victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. (931) 456-0747

  • Cumberland Children's Center - House of Hope - provides services and programs for the drug endangered, abused and at-risk children of Cumberland County. (931-707-2273)


  • The Exchange Club/Stephens Center – Healthy Families program is an in-home evidence-based parenting and child development class for prenatal and first time parents.  This curriculum helps parents improve their skills, strengthen their families, and keep their families intact.               (931) 823-6432

Senior Care & Resources

  • LBJ & C Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) - builds partnerships in our communities and encourages seniors to volunteer at local agencies.(931) 528-6488

  •  127 South Senior Center - The place to go for active seniors to have fund and fellowship.        (931) 484-2547



  • Creative Compassion – Provides affordable homeownership opportunities for low-income families through mortgage financing and new construction, as well as help already-homeowners with emergency repairs.                                      (931) 456-6654

Community Resources

  • Crossville Housing Care Closet- Assists low-income underprivileged persons and families to obtain affordable housing and provid services and support to families who struggle to afford the most basic necessities (931) 484-2990                                                                      

  • Cumberland Adult Reading Council – Provides free tutoring to adults (18 and older) via trained volunteers to acquire functional literacy in reading writing, and math to achieve personal academic goals.      (931) 337-5809                                   

  • Cumberland County  Rescue Squad – Provides emergency rescue and safety services for Cumberland County. (931) 484-9143                                                                 

  • Cumberland Prevention Coalition – Is a coalition partnering to fight the epidemic of drugs within our community. (931) 210-0384                                

  • Cumberland Good Samaritans – For over 35 years providing multi-faceted emergency support service programs and community partnerships as well as social services, direct financial aid, food relief and thrift store operations.                   (931) 484-3225                                  

  • Cumberland House (Hospice) – Residential hospice facility that serves all Cumberland County Citizens for end of life care.  (931) 456-0261

  • Invitation Ministries – Offers support and hope to those in addiction through rehab placement, detox placement, support groups, leadership training, court advocacy, and a long term residential faith based women’s program. (337) 551-2714   


  • TN Poison Control (poison help hotline) – Provides a toll free hotline for state-of-the-art emergency advice and treatment information 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.  Also provides prevention education and surveillance.  1- 800 222-1222 

Physical and Mental Health                                                 

  • C5 Christian Counseling Center – Provides affordable, professional mental health and relationship counseling from a Christian perspective to fulfill the mission of healing hearts and minds. (931) 707-8200


  • Hilltoppers, Inc. – Provides Day, Employment and Residential services to adults with intellectual developmental and/or other disabilities, along with those who are Senior Citizens.      (931) 484-2535

  • Visually Impaired Support Group – Was founded to improve the lives of the blind and visually impaired in Cumberland County through education, communications, transportation, technology, and social support. (931) 787 1772

Solving Hunger

  • Crab Orchard Care Center – Feeds hungry people of all ages and provides medical care twice monthly 931-707-5616   


  • Homestead Community Food Pantry – The Pantry exists to provide a way for the less fortunate to receive nourishment each month at no cost. (931) 484-7996
